Two positive clear blue results

Hi all - this is my first post and first time I’ve ever been pregnant! I came off the pill in December and my periods were coming every five weeks. I am a week late and decided to do a clear blue digital test which came back positive at 2-3 weeks. I done another one his morning with my first urine of the day and it’s the same results. Does this normally mean i’m 100% pregnant? I didn’t expect it to happen so soon as I haven’t had any other symptoms! I’m

Hello. You are more likely to get a false negative than a false positive. Two tests is plenty to say that you are pregnant. Congratulations!

I had my implant taken out at the end of December and similar to you didn't expect it to happen so soon. I'm due 1st January!

Clearblue aren't the most sensitive of tests so for it to pick up and give you a 2-3 reading there is definitely HCG present which is only produced when you're pregnant. The clearblue reading of 2-3 suggests you may be 4-5 weeks pregnant (though there's such an overlap of HCG levels I wouldn't take that as gospel - your midwife will help you calculate your due date) Congratulations!! Give your community midwife team a call for your booking appointment at around 8 weeks from your last period.

My Clearblue said 3+ since conception so I knew I was at least 5 weeks. I was actually almost 7!
