I seem to have sprouted a couple of these delightful buggers, the woman behind the counter in Boots wouldn't sell me any Bazuka or Wartner as they are contraindicated during pregnancy (isn't everything?) Anyone know what I can use, or do I have to face the prospect of a visit to the chiropodist to have them burnt and sliced off [shudders at thought]

ask yor gp! they could freeze it for you it cheaper than buying diy verruca stuff!

Banana skin works better than any over-the-counter treatment - strange but true. Cut small pieces to cover the verrucae, and put them inside-skin-of banana against you, tape them down with breathable tape. I don't know why it works, but it does. Do it every night, and they'll go soft and start to fall out!
