Baby movement

Hi All

I'm 21 weeks tomorrow first baby. I think I have felt movement but I'm not 100% sure! I have felt bubbles and more recently feels like vibrations.

I had some bleeding on Sunday when I wiped but didn't continue. I didn't have any cramps so I didn't contact the hospital or anything -My mum felt my stomach on Sunday evening and said she could feel baby moving.

I'm starting to worry that maybe what I'm feeling isn't baby moving. Any advice?

It's normal to feel anxious during your first pregnancy. My placenta was at the front of the uterus and so I didn't feel any movements until way past 20 weeks.

Have you had your 20 wk scan? Was all ok?

I had a private scan a few weeks ago but my 20 week scan is not until the 17th

I don't think you need to be worried, movements aren't established until 24 weeks and as the pp says your placenta could be at the front, but I would make an appointment with your mw just to give you peace of mind. For one thing your 20 week scan is quite late, you should have this before 21 weeks ideally if I remember correctly.

I thought the scan was quite late. In my area they can do it up to 23 weeks!
