Huge bump. Should I be worried?

Please forgive me for being so anxious. I've never had a baby before and my midwife is not the most helpful. Lovely woman but very busy and I can't imagine she would be happy if I contacted her about this.

Basically... I'm 15 weeks, look 6 months, and am not sure why I am completely enormous. Colleagues laughed at me today which whilst I laughed along I also felt very self conscious. They joked 'did you eat a watermelon whole'...

Is it normal to be so big before 4 months? I want to hide my bump away for now but in this hot weather it's been really difficult. Feeling low and self conscious. Anyone else had this? Can anyone provide me with reassurance?

Sorry that your colleagues laughed out you, that's an awful thing for them to do, if they laughed at someone who was overweight it would be classed as bullying but people seem to think that commenting or laughing at someone's size in pregnancy is perfectly ok, which it's not.
Have you got a 16 week appointment booked with your midwife? Could you talk to her about it then?
