Relieving Itchy Feet

I have got unbearably itchy feet. It's making me feel like I am going mental. I've spoken to the midwife and am booked in for a blood test tomorrow to check my bile acid, but in the meantime has anyone got any suggestions for relieving the itch. It's making me want to cry it's so incessant!

Having had two cholestasis pregnancies if it is that then personally nothing truly helped.

Although cold water / standing on cold tiled floor did bring some short lived relief.

If you get a diagnosed they will be able to prescribe antihistamines which may help.

Try menthol aqueous cream you can buy it online! Helps soothe the itching!

Thanks both. Have just had a cool bath which seems to have helped a bit. We’re not sure if it’s cholestatis or the fact that I’m suffering with severe swelling in my feet and ankles. Hoping it’s the swelling, but the itching is enough to drive me insane. There is no satisfying way to scratch the soles of your feet!!!
