Hello everyone, apologies if this has been asked lots of times before, but I am in the early stages of my first pregnancy. I'm 31, and about 2-3 weeks. I found out less than a week ago so my emotions are all over the place, but I am mainly excited. I just need advice really about steps to take. I have contacted my GP and am awaiting a call from the midwife. I suppose my question is: what's next? I don't have a close relationship with my mother and as it is so early I have only told my husband, best friend (male) and my grandmother, who I am very close to. I feel a bit overwhelmed by everything, and I think chatting to experienced mums may help. Thank you in advance :)

Just take your folic acid and then the next thing is your booking in appointment with the Midwife around 10 weeks. Pregnancy is surprisingly boring (if you’re lucky!) and nothing much happens till the much later months.
