Pregnancy friendly alternative to insect repellent?

Can anyone recommend something natural I could use to repel the bugs whilst on holiday in Spain?!! : )

Taking B vitamins is meant to make your blood less appealing to mosquitoes, and you could use citronella products, but tbh given that repellent with up to 50% DEET is considered safe for pregnant women I would be inclined to just use something that will work.

Avon skin so soft (original version) is my insect repellent of choice at any time and I am the sweet meat in any room - Got bitten in my back garden in London last night
