13 week scan

I have had my 13 week scan (Friday just gone) and the lips and nose seem to look a bit strange. The lady doing the scan didn’t seem concerned at all and said everything looked fine. I just wondered if anybody else has the same experience? I am trying to add a picture along with this question to see your thoughts. Thanks.

If the sonographer said it's fine I'm sure it's fine. There's a lot of development after 13 weeks and they often still look a bit odd.

OP, have you had the results from your screening test?

I think this is normal for scans so early on. My friend had the same as you and I’m attaching my 12+5 and 21 (sorry about the blue hearts) and you can see his nose was so different. That early on the whole face is yet to take shape xx

I remember thinking it looked like a cone that was all attached and being worried (we didn't have the NT screening). Paid for a private sex scan at 18 weeks and baby's little face looks perfect

Thanks for replies so far. Just managed to work out how to add a picture to my post and it won't allow me to as I am a new user I think I am over thinking and worrying. Your replies are quite reassuring. I wasn't able to have the np test as the baby was too curled up. I'm having a blood test at 15 weeks instead. She said she could see the nose clearly which was a positive sign of no problems and growth was fine too.
