Went for a scan yesterday and little one was being very stubborn wouldnt give the sonographer a clear view though him and assistant both agreed girl. On one pic my partner is sure there is boy parts any thoughts?

Can't even see a baby in that pic OP, what angle is it from?!

How far gone are you? Tbh can't really make much out of the photos.

Was it a private scan? How many weeks are you??

3rd pic looks like a boy to me..

I thought pics were quite clesr may be camera on phone. Its taken looking up to the babys bottom the sonographer said the baby was "sitting" private scan at 16 weeks

Oh, sometimes it can still be hard to tell babys gender when your 16 weeks. Myself and my sister got told that.

They won't tell you until 16 weeks at least.
If the professionals can't tell you, we can't!

Looks like a boy to me

Pics aren't super clear but looks a little similar to mine at 17 weeks (we are having a girl!) we couldn't see anything between the legs at all.

Second pic I would have said girl
But the last picture is making me think boy

Normally at the private places they get you back for a re scan if they can't see clearly
The place I went to said that they will always re scan if they aren't very very very certain of the sex!

You have paid to know so I would try and get another scan TBH

Yeah we used mums in solihull the sonographer said he was 98% and all the way through I was thinking girl didnt think anything of it until we were looking at the pictures afterwards. Have emailed them will see what they say on Tuesday

the first pic is obviously a girl (you can clearly see the labia - three lines).

I had a private scan at 17 weeks and found our the sex. We’re having a boy and in the scan photos, from the same angles as yours, it was blinding obvious that the sex was male - the genitalia was clearly defined. The consultant made sure to show us multiple times too . You photos do not look like mine so I’d say that a girl sounds about right.

Oh! To guess the gender at this stage you have to see the head and spine, do you have a side on pic?
