Please can i ask people what their EARLY early labour signs were ? Like maybe a couple of weeks before and then what the symptoms were a few days before ?
I swear these sharp Virginia pains must be a sign

I've been getting 'fanny daggers' since 32/33 weeks and I'm now 38 weeks and don't feel any closer! So unfortunately it may not be as close as you think 😭😭😭

And there are signs that suggest labour is approaching but it can also just be completely spontaneous!

I had no signs / braxton hicks etc. I went in to hospital the day before I had my little girl as I was bleeding but they were pretty sure it wasn't a sign of labour and midwife said baby was still way too high and needed to drop. 12 hours later my waters broke and 2.5 hours later she arrived!

Sorry but the fanny daggers aren't a sign of labour. They are just annoying.

My earliest sign with DC1 was having a 'bloody show' about 24 hours before they were born. Completely out of the blue and no pain or 'feeling' before that. Contractions started about 12 hours after the show and DC was born about 8 hours after that.

You will know when you start getting contractions. They can't be mistaken for anything else.
