Regular BH?

I didn't think they could be regular?
Don't think it's contractions because I expect the pain to be worse...? (I laboured b2b with ds1) They are sore and intense though.
I've been tracking them and they are coming roughly every 7 minutes.
Could this just be BH?

I didn't think I was in labour; just thought it was regular bhs, but it was labour apparently so it could be. Keep an eye on them - they might frustratingly stop or be the real thing!

You have been having niggles for a few days haven't you?

ICanTuckMyBoobsInMyPockets · 06/05/2018 18:46

How far gone are you OP?

MrsG95 · 06/05/2018 18:50

I'm 39+2. Been having niggles for the past week. Pain is getting stronger, but I thought I'd be crying by now lol.
Been going on since 4:30/5pm now. Roughly every 6/7 minutes, sometimes a bit longer or shorter.
Gonna have a quick tidy and get on the birthing ball! Fingers crossed

Good luck op Grin

MrsG95 · 06/05/2018 21:21

Am I doing something wrong?? 😣😣
They completely stopped for 45 minutes earlier, then started again but seem to get more regular then further away!

I had regular Braxton hicks contractions for weeks before labour both times. Sometimes just tightening, sometimes painful, and often coming on for a few hours as regular as every 4 minutes. It wasn’t labour until the time it was, so probably just relax and assume it isn’t, if it carries on it might turn into the real thing! For my second labour the contractions were every 3/4 mins right from the start though, just not very strong and still took 5/6 hours til she was born.

MrsG95 · 06/05/2018 21:49

It's all so different this time. I never had any bh with ds1, waters broke spontaneously, with contractions starting 5 minutes apart straight away..
I dunno what I'm doing this time around 😂

Mine did this for my first 2 for about 3/4 days before birth. They didn't hurt enough to be in labour but were strong and regular Try and use it as a time to catch up with sleep, see friends, go for walks, cook.
Good luck.
