Hi everyone, have been reading all the threads and finally feel like I have found a place to chat about all those things I want to!

I am 36 weeks pregnant with baby number one, due 7the Sept, just have started maternity leave today, feel like a whale and am excited about the birth.

So, whats the site like? I have not posted on one before! Not really had the time as can't use PC for internet access at work.

Hope to get to know some new people.

Hi Saddy,

Welcome to Mumsnet!!

Feel free to join the Sep 04 thread - a bunch of us all due in Sep keep in touch.

MN is a great forum for chatting, when you have a problem or just in general. Everybody is really friendly and I have come to rely on it as a source of invaluable advice/experience.

I am also due in Sep (12th) with our second little boy - my eldest is 3yrs3months and I have been posting on mumsnet for about 2.5 years.

Look forward to seeing you around...

Agree with dejags.

Welcome

Hello and welcome to MN

I have been using MN for over a year and half now and generally find it is really friendly, helpful and supportive place. Very addictive though - be warned

It's a global coffee morning where every group is talking about something different so you always find an interesting conversation!!!!!

Hi Saddy - I am also due in Sept (but right at the end) and a have a dd who is 2. Enjoy your maternity leave and do lots of of reading of mumsnet. What ever your worry there is someone here who has been through something similar if not the same.

Angeliz · 09/08/2004 14:36

OOH beachyhead i like your description!!

Shall we think of a quirky name like 'central perk' on freinds??

Saddy · 09/08/2004 14:47

Hey, thanks for the welcome Ladies.....I am going to check out the Sept board, although I feel I am going to pop any minute!

Maybe I can chat to them about the state of my bellybutton as it seems to be one f those not for general discussion topics amongst freinds who fein faiting whenever I mention it!
