22 weeks +2.

On Friday I felt a crack and had pain in my right ribs and back. Went to A&E. Was slightly tacicardic (100 BPM) given codeine and checked via ECG. Told I'd probably cracked a rib. They did some checks incase of DVR (I've been getting cramps in my right calf and had a long haul flight 3 weeks ago). But legs measured the same so they said to keep an eye on things and take it easy. Blood pressure was lower than it has been (96/65) but closer to prepregnancy (theouout pregnancy my BP has been about 120/80 which is high for me but I was told this was normal).

Yesterday (Saturday) I woke with a migraine. Blurry vision. Focused on left side. I drank lots of fluids, in case I was dehydrated. This is the first migraine all pregnancy. The last time I had one was 18 months ago.

Took paracetamol, which did nothing. Rested a lot. Needed to go to the loo a fair bit but did not pass much urine.

Headache finally went away around midnight. When I needed to pass a lot of water. I've been to the loo 6 times since then (now 7:45a. Sunday). I have peed a lot (Def pee not anything else).

While I observed no swelling yesterday, it's clear my stomach was actually really swollen. It now looks smaller. I have not noticed any swelling elsewhere.

Was this just a migraine or is something else going on? Headache has now shifted. Though right side is still achey.

Do I call the Ob/ Mat unit or am I worrying unnecessarily?

Call midwife or 111. Always better safe than sorry. Hope everything is alright x

I had a migraine with aura every day when I was 32wks pg and had flu. It was awful. I get them when I'm run down. I normally get 1 or 2 a year.

If you've had them previously then I wouldn't be overly concerned, but might ring GP on Tuesday after the BH weekend and mention it if you're worried.

I'm hoping it's just a migraine. Will flag with midwife though!
