Bump showing.

Hi all.

Am new here so i hope i am commenting in the right area. Just a quick question but wondered when people started to show in their second pregnancy? I am 6 weeks but look further along and having trouble hiding it. I know if you have had a baby before your bump may show earlier but i also know it could well just be bloating. Did other people have a bump this early and if so did it go down again or could i actually be starting to show?

I showed at 7 weeks (bloat prob), but very obvious bump before 12 weeks. I was ridiculous huge with my first baby and obviously stretched a lot so when it came to the second my stomach muscles didn't even put up a fight.

By 6 weeks I looked about four months with DS. Difficult if you want to hide it but lovely otherwise. You can definitely show so early on x congrats x enjoy

Thank you. Maybe it is a bit of both then. Im excited and my husband even commented yesterday (luckily in a nice way lol) but not ready to share news yet so trying to keep baby and bloat covered for the moment. My son wants to k ow if i have a baby in my tummy for him yet. Having to be very careful what we say too. Hope you're all well. xx

I had loads of bloating for the first 10 weeks or so but managed to hide the actual bump for almost 5 months (unfortunately didn't manage to hide the irrational hormonal mood swings though!)

At 6 weeks it's bloat. Baby is about the size of a lentil and tucked deep down inside your pelvis.

I bloated up till about 12 weeks, it then deflated and a proper bump developed a few weeks later but nothing noticeable to others until the third trimester.

Didn't have this with my son and frustrating because clothes are tighter yet lost weight due to morning sickness. Hope it does go down soon then i can enjoy my bump when it appears. Thanks for replying :-)

might have been bloat to start with but mine never got any smaller, bump just keeps getting bigger, at 17 weeks I've already had one person ask if it's twins and it's definitely just one.

This is interesting. I managed to hide my first pregnancy until about 32 weeks as I carried small but then suddenly popped! I was hoping I might have similar when I conceive number 2.

this was mine at 14 weeks, no amount of baggy clothes could hide it. Had my first scan at exactly 14 weeks, needn't have bothered telling anyone, they all knew.

but i did show early with first baby at 11 weeks

Guess i will have to wait and see. Scan in June so not too long. See what my belly does in the mean time.
