Hey,
So I went up for reduced movements today at 31 weeks and 2 days, been a few times for reduced movements, was on the machine a while, cause baby had not many accelerations, then the midwife came back, and said I need to have another CTG on Monday and a scan on Tuesday but wouldn't tell me why, any ideas?

Probably because you've been in several times. It doesn't necessarily mean there's anything wrong (they wouldn't have let you go home if they were worried). But I think after several instances of reported reduced movement they like to check baby's growth and fluid.

The scan will be checking growth and placenta function.
I've been checked out a couple times too and they just like to be sure everything is good.

It's normally the policy if someone has had three or more episodes of reduced fetal movements to do a growth scan, this allows them to have a more detailed look at the baby, amount of fluid around the baby, placenta etc. And see if everything looks ok or if they can see any cause for the reduced fetal movements. I am assuming because it's a bank holiday weekend and they can't book you in sooner they are doing a repeat CTG and then the scan as soon as they can.
