Baby & bump or NCT?

Anyone been to the Baby & Bump classes? Are they as good as NCT? Primarily going for the social side to be honest.

I went to one nct and never went back. Found it really judgemental. My trainer may just have been bad but she had very fixed views on birth and babies that I found very irritating. Her only advice on pain relief was ‘you won’t need it if you prepare properly for labour’. I wanted a non biased education on every option open to me not just the ones pushed by nct so I complained and got a refund for the rest of the course.

My friend went to bump and baby and loved it. Said it wasn’t preachy at all. She’s kept on touch with one of the couples which I think is less than most people that went to nctvas nct seems to have a bigger network.

If social side is what you’re after then nct may be better?
