So basically, as the subject suggests, I’m on my 4th pregnancy (1st positive test 21st March) and possibly going through a MMC.
I was referred to the EPU due to some localised cramping. They did a transvaginal scan at what I thought 9+3. They could only see the gestational sac and 2 yolk sacs. They said I probably have my dates wrong (not impossible as I have very irregular periods varying from 28 days to 50 days and I wasn’t charting). They put me at 5-6 weeks. I requested a hcg test, results came back at 10,674. That matches with me being 5-6 weeks. I have to go back on the 8th for a repeat scan.
The doctor was optimistic but also mentioned it could be a missed miscarriage but at the minute it’s 50/50.
I find it weird how the hcg matches how many weeks they think I am.
Unfortunately I won’t be able to get a repeat hcg test until the 8th so won’t be able to see if it’s going up or down.
Has anyone else been through this?
We are preparing for the worst but hoping for the best x
