When to take a test?

Hiya, I'm a little confused and I'm new so I hope I'm doing this right!

Basically me and my partner had unprotected sex then a few hours later I began my period (24th April - 28th) sorry TMI and then it stopped and there was nothing for 2-3 days then I had Spotting and pains in my right hip area, it's carried on hurting for around a week and a half and today (3rd) I got a horrible sore throat, no other cold symptoms and have had headaches for two days, is it possible I'm pregnant? And when should I take a test?

It's unlikely you're pregnant if you came on straight after and you would have missed your fertile peak. But to be on the safe side you can take a test from around the time your next period is due.

I read that you can still have your period while pregnant or just got pregnant so it's all very confusing and okay thanks!

No you can't, you can have vaginal bleeding but it's not the same as a proper menstrual period. I had a bit of bleeding with my third and fourth pregnancies that was very similar to a light period, but it was from my cervix and also a bit of implantation bleeding too.

Do you think the spotting could of been implantation bleeding?
