Any advice which is better? I hate group activities and presentations so not keen on either but as it's my first feel I should do one? All advice welcome 😩

I have just had my first baby and did daisy. There was no NCT in my area. I found it hard going in that I was out very late in the evening in Jan/Feb but I learnt a lot at the classes. I now have a great group of new mum friends and we are meeting up with our newborns next week. We are also all planning to do daisy baby massage together X

Thanks for reply. What type of things did you do during the class?

We would start off with different breathing techniques for the different stages of labour, then in the middle there would be a chat about something like places to give birth, pain relief etc then we would do yoga type stuff about different positions for different stages of labour then the last fifteen minutes were relaxation. It was very useful.

Don’t know about Daisy Birthing specifically, but if it’s anything like their baby classes then definitely do it, they’re wonderful, so much better than anything else I tried (Baby Sensory etc.)

Don't know anything about Daisy, but I did NCT for my first pregnancy and found it was really good. I didn't necessarily learn anything I hadn't read about but it was great for breathing techniques and making me think about priorities once baby had are. I also had a fantastic group of couples who we still keep in touch with and meet up with even 2 years down the line!
