Yes, sorry, it's a poo thread.

I'm 33+3 and for the last 4 weeks or so have been having quite loose BM. Mostly it follows the pattern of urgency upon waking, then one or two trips to the loo before calm

Sorry! Posted too soon...

... calming down by mid morning. Though today I've been three times and it hasn't been fun at all.

By this point in my last pregnancy I was so constipated that I was in tears - so I'm v confused by this.

Are looser BM quite normal in the 3rd tri?!

I am 31+3 and also had the urgency and then loose BM this morning but have only been once. I haven't had any constipation in this pregnancy and have had more loose BM to be honest. I have also been much more regular than I am when not pregnant (probably eating more!!)

Might be IBS.... my symptoms started in the third trimester. I have no idea why as prior to pregnancy I was v normal where bm was concerned.

I did have this in both my pregnancies I ended up with piles

Get I've had this the last few weeks as well, not every single day but probably most the week days. I had IBS pre-pregnancy though and been told by GP not to take my regular IBS medication whilst pregnant so it's frustrating not being able to treat it. I had awful constipation until about week 20 as I had HG.
