Is this the dreaded FRER indent?

Please help guys! Took a superdrug extra sensitive pregnancy test yesterday and there was a faint positive. Took a FRER today and there is a line but it's so faint. I've heard about the dreaded indent line and hoping someone can take a look and clarify it for me please?

FRERs are generally considered invalid once the test is taken apart, but I'm afraid I can't see a second line of any kind in that photo :( Sorry x

Don't worry about it. My phone camera is goosed so all my photos come out blurry or generally rubbish :(

This is yesterday's test. Should be able to see two lines

I can see the line on your frer and it doesn’t look like an indent
Taking apart a frer doesn’t make it invalid
Weirdly, clearblue non digital tests are currently more sensitive than frer so try that

silverpenguin · 02/05/2018 19:16

@foreverlong is that true about clearblues?? The last time I was TTC was three years ago so I just bought some FRERs thinking they were most sensitive.

OP I'm afraid I can't see properly in that picture but if the line has any colour at all in real life it will be a BFP.

Yes - as of two weeks ago. I’ve photographic evidence of clearblue (non digi), an ic and a frer all from the same fmu. Line on the frer wouldn’t have been noticed by most people, whereas the clearblue was much more obvious

Two years ago when I conceived Superdrug early response tests were better than frer by a mile but they’ve discontinued them 😡

ForEverlong · 02/05/2018 19:40

@silverpenguin not the best pics - in real life the clearblue was much more obvious but these pics are from the first day I tested

I tried the CB double check pack but it was my third wee of the day and they were both negative The FRER I did after lunch and had my pee held for over an hour. The superdrug is really sensitive at 10ml hcg levels and CB is at 25ml from what I've been reading. I have been looking at the line more closely and it has a tinge of colour to it. I have some more 10 ml coming on Friday so I'll know for sure then

Please don’t rely on the stated sensitivity of tests. The internet cheapies (amazon/Ebay) all say 10 miu but there are no regulations on these claims and real life proves they’re wrong. If you’re wanting to test more than once a day collect fmu in a pot and store it to dip tests in rather than using third urine for example

I'm planning on using FMU on Saturday morning depending on when they arrive

@foreverlong interesting! You can really see the difference in those tests. How many DPO were you?
