I'm 29+ 4 and just feel like my bump has stayed the same since about week 25 I did think I had a large bump as I keep getting told I look ready to pop ect but I just haven't noticed any growth at all . At 26+ 4 I was measuring 26 and at 28+4 I was measuring 27 I don't have my next appointment untill the 17th so I will be 31+5 and I'm convinced she will still be sitting on 27 and I'm driving myself insane 😪 I have a private scan booked at 31 weeks that was booked a while ago and I invited family and now I'm worried about them coming just I case they say she's like really small or not to the average size ! Am I being ridiculous

If she does measure you at 27cm at your next appointment then she should refer you for a growth scan. I understand your anxiety, when i was expecting my dd my bump grew to a point, then didn't get much bigger. DD was growing away perfectly inside, she was a healthy 7lb 11oz at birth. It just seemed that she grew into me, rather than out of me, if that makes sense! I always measured behind, and got referred for a few growth scans because i measured the same several appointments running. I think fundal height can be a good indication of growth issues, but it can also be a bit hit and miss! Flowers

I noticed the same from about 24-28 weeks! And then suddenly I was bigger and forgot all about it Smile

I was sent for a growth scan with this pregnancy (it's my 2nd) as my bump didn't grow in 2/3 weeks. Everything was fine. Baby was measuring perfectly on scan findings. I would tell your midwife your concerns but try not to worry, as i felt the same and turnt out fine Smile

I felt the same between 27-30 weeks now at 31 weeks I suddenly feel huge, almost overnight! As long as baby is still moving well and you have no other concerns I am sure it will be fine. Thanks

I've had exactly the same very recently. Last week I was sent for a growth scan as at 31 weeks I was only measuring 27cm and really flat lining on my chart. Growth scan was fine and I have a very normal sized baby squished in there! The sonographer told me that only about 10% of growth scans actually flag up a problem, but community midwives only have bump size to go by so they have to check.

Worth getting it checked it you're concerned. I was the same, bump was small from 28 weeks.. MW weren't concerned even though at 32 weeks I was measuring behind at 29 weeks. I ended up having ogliohydraminous, IUGR and had to be induced at 38 weeks.. but she was fine, although diddy at 5lb. She's a gobby 10 year old now and nearly as tall as me!
