I thought I'd start a thread for 4th pregnancy to see how everyone is finding it?

I'm 33weeks pregnant with my 4th and it's killing me, my first 3 we're fine but this little one is totally different.

I had serve itching for about 4wks in my early pregnancy and now I'm struggling to walk, shooting mains in my pelvis and now have developed some horrendous varicose veins 😩😱

Oh I'm also suffering with low iron and heart burn.

Ok reading this thread back it's basically me moaning and wallowing I'm self pity 😩😩

I'm guessing I'm on my own then

Not 4th but third, but I'll sympathise with a horrrrrrrrendous agonising pile that make me wince when I breath. It is so sore. I can't even imagine what it is going to do when I have to actually push the baby out?! Turn inside out?!

Sending flowers. Thanks

Needmorehands · 02/05/2018 20:52

I'm now 37wks with number 5 and I'm totally with you.
I want to be the only person in my ribs! I'm fed up of heartburn and SPD. I cannot wait to be able to turn over in bed without it feeling like a full body workout.
But my iron level is OK - floradix?
I have no idea how many times a day I tell myself, not long now!

annie8417 · 02/05/2018 21:04

Thank goodness I'm not alone haha
I've just put one born every minute on and my anxiety levels have just gone up, I have no idea how I'm going to do this again, my body hurts and is knackard.
I'm really hoping this one comes early and it's quick

Hi, I’ve just found myself pregnant with my unplanned 4th, I have no idea how I’m going to cope with this 😟
How old are your other children?

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 03/05/2018 08:35

I’m on my 4th too, like you it’s completely different to my first 3 (I haven’t had a baby for 7 years, so a fairly big age gap). I’m currently 39 weeks so just playing the waiting game for him/her to arrive! I’ve had the opposite with heartburn, it was awful with my other 3 but hasn’t been so bad with this one. However the pelvic pain is horrible. I nearly cried this morning when I woke up and baby hasn’t arrived, doesn’t help when people are already texting “any news?”. Gah!!

BrutusMcDogface · 03/05/2018 09:19

I'm 29 weeks with number 4, too! I'm tired and sore too. Have you been to a physio re: the hip pain? Flowers

BrutusMcDogface · 03/05/2018 09:19

McToot- hope your baby hurries up! How old are your others?

BrutusMcDogface · 03/05/2018 09:20

Ellie- congrats! Mine wasn't 100% planned, either.....the others are 8, 6 and 4.

Needmorehands · 03/05/2018 09:21

McToot, I've got a six year age gap this time, which is quite scary as there's only 5yrs 3 months between babies 1 and 4!
I'd hoped having such a long rest would mean my body coped better, but no - the SPD was right there waiting for me :(
Congratulations Ellie

McTootBlowsOnHisBagpipe · 03/05/2018 10:24

My others are 11,9 & 7 they are overly excited and it’s been lovely to actually share the pregnancy with them, as you can see they wouldn’t have really remembered each other being born in great detail. Hurry up baby 😂

feelinggoodinspring · 03/05/2018 11:22

This baby is my 4th and my others are 7, 5 and 3. I'm 19+6.

Armygirl · 03/05/2018 12:12

I’m pregnant with baby number 4. Early days for me at 5 weeks so only sore Boobs at the moment. I’ve got 11,9 and a 7 year old so bit of a gap with this one 😊

annie8417 · 03/05/2018 12:22

Oh we can all suffer together, I'm praying it arrives early even tho none of my others have 😮
I've got a 9,8 and a 4year old

5th pg here and feeling exactly the same and MW just said its because everything is looser than before thats why my legs etc are in agony 😣 This is definitely my last lol

annie8417 · 03/05/2018 13:57

Can I ask those who have had more than 5 how their 4th labour were like?

OP posts:
Needmorehands · 03/05/2018 14:30

Wow McToot - are you me? I have 11, 9 and 7 as well, and a just turned 6yr old!
FallenAngel - careful what you say - our last one just turned 6! and I was really frustrated because I was so much physically fitter this time than for any of the others. Couldn't have run for a bus before, so learned how to run 10k in under and hour, do 90second planks etc - made no difference to SPD :(
Annie - as for 4th labour - mine have all been born at home, fairly quickly. DC3 was the only one who was late (11 very long days!) so DC4 followed to first 2, 39.4 weeks ish, I knew at school pick up 3.15 pm it was happening but was in teh playground to pick up DC1, DC4 born at 7.10!

annie8417 · 03/05/2018 14:49

Mine were all late but hoping this won't be 😳 my last labour was only 2hours so I'm really hoping for a quick labour this time around x

I’m hoping this one will be quick too as all my others have been. my last was an unplanned homebirth so ive opted for a planned one this time!

LostMyBaubles · 03/05/2018 16:55

Pregnant with
Other dc are 7,4 and 3.
Eldest has lots of health probs so a fair bit of running around with him

I feel utterly fucked today.
22weeks today.
Im hoping this one is early. Spd already setting in and have other health issues.

Needmorehands · 04/05/2018 10:33

Hello Baubles, Good luck with teh health issues for your eldest. Have you visited a chiropractor for the SPD? I would happily have left DH for mine!
I have a reflexology appt this morning, which may or may not help serve the eviction notice - but if not I've had a lovely foot massage and nice catch up with the friend who does it :) win win!

annie8417 · 05/05/2018 12:20

Urgh my skin is so horrible at the min! In a cross between a teenager with the acne yet my skins soooooo dry 😩
