Pregnant with my second baby and feel like I have a dull ache in my vagina!
Can't work out if the ache is outside or inside.
I had an episiotomy with my first so it could be the site of that or just my week pelvic floor! Does anyone else have this?

I wonder if it's the start of pelvic girdle pain? Have a google and see if the symptoms match, and if so get yourself a physio referral. Mine started as a sort of bruised/achey feeling in the area of my perineum - if I didn't know better I'd have sworn someone had kicked me between the legs.

Ah could be! I did have pelvic girdle pain last time, but this feels worse. I am showing a lot earlier this time, so that could be why I'm getting these symptoms earlier

If the pain is continuous and in the lower abdomen contact your midwife immediately. You need to rule out serious things first, like placental abruption.

I’ve had something similar throughout my whole pregnancy (currently 30 weeks). Midwife said something about hormones and increased blood flow to the vagina, but it could be pelvic floor related. Hope yours improves soon!

PGP usually starts earlier and can be more severe second time around. Get thee to an osteopath.

My midwife second time round mentioned varicose veins in the foof, as the reason for the dull, dragging, constant ache that was quite intense, and similar to what I reckon a kick down there might feel like. It went away soon after birth.
