Hi everyone, yesterday early hours i woke up for the loo and noticed blood! My partner took me straight to A&E where they took my blood and urine sample. I had to wait around for a while to be then told I can't have a scan until Friday morning!! I've rang other hospitals to see if I can have a scan and also contacted my midwife.. nothing!
I'm worried sick as the bleeding has continued this morning. I'm not experiencing any severe pain and I haven't got any clots. Has anyone gone through this before or know if there's anyway at all I can get a quicker scan? I just need reassuring that my little one is ok. This is my first pregnancy So I am completely new to all this

Couldn't read and run. Just wanted to say, easier said than done I know, but try to stay calm. It's not always a bad sign. I'm not aware of any way you can get a scan quicker, maybe one of private clinics? But I'm not sure if that's the right environment for this. Just try to remain calm Flowers

I had a massive hush of red bloody at 14 weeks. Was taken to a&e luckily I could be scanned and they saw baby was fine. Had a follow up at EPU a few days later which confirmed baby was fine and cause of bleeding was low lying placenta (it usually loves so they don’t tend to tell you before 20weeks if it’s low) I was told that at 14 weeks if I was miscarrying I would be in pain with contractions by the midwife so if it was just a little blood on wiping to just monitor it and only go back to EPU or a&e if I was in pain or if I stared filling more that 2 pads because they could mean I was hemoraging.

I’m currently 30+3 and have had small episodes of bleeding through pregnancy

I know it’s hard to stay calm but try to and rest too. If your not in pain and no major clots chances are everything is ok with baby. But if your massovilybworried call your EPU again
