I can't remember from last pregnancy as that was nearly two years ago. My last period was 7/8th April on the 7th had light brown bleeding then the 8th was more full flow so would you count that as the first day? I get confused. Just wondering how far along I am? X

Usually from the first day of your last period. That's how my doctors surgery works it out anyway

It is two weeks before you conceive/ovulate. So if you have a 28 cycle and ovulate on day 14, it will be the first day of your last period. Otherwise it will be whatever date works out for your shorter/longer cycle.

When you have your dating scan, that date will become your official date regardless of whether you know it is slightly out or not.
