12 week scan but worried it’s too early....

I have my dating scan booked for Weds when according to my LMP I’ll be 12 weeks 2 days. However I was tracking ovulation and ovulated late in my cycle so according to my calculations I’ll actually only be about 11 weeks 2 days on Weds.

I’m a bit worried it’ll be too early for them to do the NT measurements as I’ve heard quite a few people having scans at 11 weeks only to be told baby is too small. Does anyone have any experience of this? Is it’s likely I’ll be asked to go back again if they can’t do it? Trying not to worry too much!

To 12 weeks, so I had my 12 week scan and the measurements showed I was 9 weeks, so I had to book another scan for 12 weeks.

I had mine yesterday and I turned out to be 11 weeks instead of 12+5 so I do indeed have to go back in 10 days. I don't mind - bonus scan!

Same as. 12+3 weeks on LMP, turned out to be about 11 weeks when we went last Tuesday.
So we are back in on Thursday 😀

I had an early scan at 7 weeks and they were able to measure the bab and saw the heartbeat :)

The screening can be done at 11+2

Yeah this happened to me twice and they just made an appointment for me to come back. They may be able to do the measurement anyway though.

I was 11 weeks 1 or 2 days (and knew I wasn't further on because of tracking ovulation) the baby was very slightly too small to get accurate measurement and had to return in a week. They should make you another appointment.

Thanks everyone! DH has struggled to get the time off work to come on Weds and I doubt he’d get time off to come back if I have to go back next week so I was hoping could all be done on Weds! Will see what happens!
