Please help, in 29+4 and recently diagnosed with GD. I feel really weak today with extremely heavy lower legs and arms and a pressure on my chest. No significant swelling. I logged into my online mat notes account to get the out of hours number for midwife so I could phone for advice. I saw on my notes that my urine from Tuesday tested positive for protein, ketones and white blood cells. Why didn’t they tell me? I
Have pointed out that I was repeatedly hospitalised for kidney infections during previous pregnancy. No uti symptoms.
I just feel so rotten.no answer from oncall midwife. Baby moving fine

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I would call the hospital maternity assessment unit or Triage number and talk to them for advice.

Why have you posted this under two different account names? Hmm

Lndnmummy · 29/04/2018 19:00

Claire, do sod off with your Hmm. I changed the heading to see if I could attract more advice as I was beside myself with worry. Is that ok with you?

I did not change account name! Don’t you have better things to do on a Sunday than question a heavily pregnant woman who was concerned about her health.

Go into triage x

Bluebirdsky · 29/04/2018 19:08

Did you speak to anyone at the hospital @Lndnmummy? Are you feeling any better?

Lndnmummy · 29/04/2018 19:27

ThanksFlowers, I went in around lunch time and they were lovely. I have just been able to come home now. Some protein in urine and blood pressure a tad high so they are keeping an eye out for pre eclampsia.
I will go back in on Tuesday for more tests. Fingers crossed all will be well.
