Acid Reflux!

Ever since around 25 weeks I've had really bad acid reflux at night and I've been kept awake all night because of it. I've realised if I eat past around half 7 I've got no chance of getting any sleep as it makes it worse. I've now got 3 days to go until my due date, will it go once I've given birth? Im scared I'll be stuck like this forever! Sad

Yes, honestly as soon as you give birth it goes! Mine was horrendous. I’ve never slept better than the day after I gave birth, because I could actually lay down! Even with a newborn.

Good luck! Not long to go now

Ask your GP for a prescription for Omeprazole or Ranitidine tablets, both are fine to take in pregnancy and will probably help a lot.
You probably don't even need an appointment if you just ask for a doctor to call you and speak to them over the phone they will probably do a prescription for you.

Yup had it would drink bottles of gaviscon, keep your head elevated extra pillows to raise you up so you’re not lying flat. Keep a banana side of your bed, bananas coat the stomach lining when your acid gets bad.
Asda does those little tablets for a pound like omeprzole..not the calcuim chalk ones but the tiny ones.
I still get acid reflux but it runs in the family and it’s gerd. but pregnancy made it worse for me couldn’t eat anything but cucumber
