So I was having Chinese around the inlaws and when I bit into a chicken ball so half in my mouth half in my hand I could see the chicken was still pink so I spat out the part in my mouth and didn't swallow any. What are my chances of getting ill? I'm 29 weeks and feeling a bit worried now as my partner is currently in the toilet due to this so am I next? ?!?

Not that high if you only bit into it. It’s worth noting that although unpleasant, salmonella doesn’t pose a significant risk to your baby in the same way that other types of food poisoning do.

You'll be ok.

Maybe not ideal (in pregnancy), but the Chinese usually cook their chicken like this and actually chicken only needs to be heated thoroughly to kill any nasties, it doesn't have to be all white.

You'll be fine.

Unless there was something else up with the food.
