.....Will they be able to see much due to the size of LO by then!? They are 5 and 7 1/2 years, they really want to see the baby bless h'em, and they've had to wait along time, as we were very open with our DS's when TTC which tuck 18 months, and now they are counting down the days and weeks till they get to see their little brother or sister!

will your hospital let them? ours wouldn't allow it

I think you have got lovely DS's. They must be so excited. I would take them. FWIW my dd just cried 'door' when we took her - still she was only 2.

babymad - my 7 year old asked me the same thing tonight as have scan tomorrow - only 7 weeks tho so I have said if all is ok then he can come to the 20 week scan when baby is bigger. I think it is lovely your ds's are so interested xx I would take them with you

I'll ask MW tomorrow weather I will be allowed to take them with me, also They'll have to take a day off school but I think that getting to know the LO before he/she gets here is important! They talk and sing to the baby all the time, I have to give DH and 2 DS's "hand parking ticket" for parking their hands to long on my tummy LOL!

oh and, when DS's are singing to the baby, if the baby kicks or moves it means that the baby likes that song and goes on a list of songs that the baby likes!
