Vaginal pressure and numbness at 17wks

I have this weird feeling in my vaginal area like a bearing down pressure, and my inner vaginal area feels a bit numb/tingly, which becomes worse when I pee. My abdomen is also a bit tender to the touch to the right of my belly button and my lower back is achy. Not working today so just rested on sofa but it's been there all day. I am otherwise feeling ok, ( no bleeding) just tired as the discomfort woke me a few times during the night. Have any of you experienced this? Should I get some medical advice?

I had this but not sure when, also it was my second pregnancy and a twin pregnancy where T1 had their head wedged firmly in my pelvis from early on. Because of that I had a lot of vaginal numbness and vulval varices Hmm luckily they went once the twins arrived!

If you are concerned at all ring the number on the front of your notes (probably your community midwife as less than 20weeks) just for reassurance. If you develop any other symptoms or they don't ease, give the triage a ring and ask their opinion.

Hope all is well and just baby being a pickle.

If there is a possibility baby is wedged in an uncomfortable position, try getting on all fours with your bum in the air and doing some pelvic floor exercises. I think that's what my pregnancy yoga instructor said anyway Hmm

Thank you for replying BTM, it could just be position like you say. I'll see how things go by tomorrow morning and if still so uncomfortable I'll call triage. ( there's def not a hider in there) I'd love that, hubby not so much. 😂

Hi, such a busy day today, my eldest b/day - 9 already can't believe if. 😱So saw consultant this morning he was great. Took what I told him seriously and examined cervix which he thought looked fine. But just to be on the safe side because of previous prob, I've to go for a scan of my cervix later in the week. He also said not to hesitate to call triage if It gets worse or I'm worried like that again. Thanks Ladies for your advices and support with this. 💕

Oh good. I was getting worried that you hadn't updated - good to know that he took you seriously and that it doesn't look like anything serious Smile Hope the sensations get better and the scan gives you the all clear later on this week xx

I think we're due around the same time btw, I'm 17+1 today Smile
