Can anyone help ?

Myself and my Mrs have been trying for a baby for the last 5 years ... today she is 6 days late and we done a test this morning and it has a clear line across and a very faint line down (clear blue) as anyone experienced this ?

Hey all, just wanted to update you turned out she was 6 week pregnant... but this morning we lost the baby, we are both gutted but will continue to try

Oh I’m so sorry to hear this. I was following this thread and was so happy for you. As someone who has also experienced miscarriages, look after each other and take some time for yourselves. My husband’s support was truly the only thing that kept me going at times. Flowers

Can i ask some advise,
So as you all see we was pregnant and over the moon.. we done a text yesterday to show her dad and this come back negative and we went doctors and hospital and they said we have lost the baby we have had no bleed no pains nothing we both are devastated but i dont see how we have and they refuse to do a scan

“Test”... and they didnt do no tests nothing just said the 3 tests we done yesterday means we have lost the baby.. because of no bleed or pains they refuse to do any scans or tests

You would think surely you haven't lost the baby until you have a bleed? Could you possibly pay for a private scan? I hope they are wrong and baby is hanging in there

This is what we are thinking but i guess we have to listen to doctors.... i just don’t understand how 5 tests say yes a week later say no and now doctors are basically saying they don’t wanna see us they dont offer free tests

Doctors normally dont test even when you go to your gp to be put on the midwifes list they still dont test they just take your word for it your also more likely to get a false neg than a false pos did you inly do the one test that came back neg? How does your partner feel? Any cramps at all?

If your partner hasn't had any pains or bleeding it's possible she is still pregnant. Can you get in touch with a midwife to express your concerns and see if she could get bloods/scan.

Another possibility, could she be further along? After an amount of time home pregnancy tests won't work as the hormone levels are too high. You could try diluting the urine and dip a test and see if that has any effect.

It is also possible to get a false negative.

You need to get advice from a dr/midwife really.
