I had cramps around 6/7 weeks, I would say this is normal.

I must say if it's not worrying about that it'll be something else, I think being pregnant is one big worry-fest

Cramps can be perfectly normal. Early on I had what felt like my period starting and now I loads of random sharp pains throughout the day. I saw my baby at a scan yesterday, all fine at 10/11 weeks.

I feel like i dont actually believe im pregnant... even though i am worrying like anything. YEah my cramps feel sharp sometimes and sometimes like an aching .. thank you ladies x

Cramping at this stage is fairly common and can be totally innocuous. It's hard to relax though. Hope it all works out OK for you.

I’m the same - constantly worrying at every twinge I’m feeling in my tummy. Just scared that I’m miscarrying when I feel pains and aches... how do you even know when you’re miscarrying? Confused
A nervous wreck already and I’m only 7 weeks gone!

Firsttimepreg · 27/04/2018 17:04

7 weeks pregnant - When do I tell my parents? Just dying to talk to my mum about it but a) I’m worried about their reaction and b) I’m worried that it’s too early to tell!

sgrayx · 27/04/2018 17:16

I always thought if you miscarried youd know by bleeding... but i could be wrong. i told my family as soon as i found out.. my mum kind of guessed so i didn't have to say much. I am glad im not the only one whos completely freaking out woth every twinge. When are you due? I Just cant wait till i see it and know its ok. Sarah.

I’m due in December (apparently)! When are you due? It’s difficult isn’t it - like you constantly need assurance that the little one is ok in there! 🙈
Bring on the 12 week scan!!! X

sgrayx · 27/04/2018 19:12

Yeah apparently im due mid december to. I just feel like im having bad period pains .. without the period

I also had lots of cramps around that time (Sometimes felt like a stabbing pain, horrible!), think it's normal :-)

Congratulations!!

MeredithShepherd · 27/04/2018 21:14

I had period pains on and off from weeks 5-8. I still get the odd one occasionally and I saw baby doing star jumps at my 12+4 week scan yesterday!

Mochiface · 27/04/2018 23:16

Hi Sgrayx and all,

Congratulations !!

I also just found out that I’m pregnant. I suffered a miscarriage six weeks ago, and I’m also trying not to worry and take each day as it is!

I’ve been getting lower back pain and period like cramps, and I spoke to the doctor today, she even finished the sentence for me, I was saying period like cramps..” and she said, without the period. You literally could have been there too! they reassured me that it’s normal.

When I had a miscarriage, I spotted a week before he miscarriage and never had any cramps or pains, until I was losing the baby. Everyone is different so we will never know what is the norm.

Keep us updated though, everything crossed for us all :)
