Very new to this! So firstly I was obviously late for my period (which never happens for me) I’ve then gone on to do the clear blue test which is showing that I’m obviously pregnant aswell as 5 other tests coming up positive. However I’ve been to the doctors and done a urine sample and it’s coming up negative? Anyone else had this? I feel like I’m completely in limbo

One of the oddest things about this is most doctors don't do a pregnancy test they just trust the ones you've done at home. Did all your positives come up in the given time window?

Yes I had many home pregnancy tests (clear blue, first response etc) say positive but my doctors said negative. He said there’s weren’t very sensitive (100 something) and referred me to the midwife anyway. I’m still pregnant now so the home pregnant tests were very correct!

If you haven't been taking folic acid, start now. You can get it with vitamin D which is recommended. Otherwise follow NHS advice - here's the foods to avoid www.nhs.uk/conditions/pregnancy-and-baby/foods-to-avoid-pregnant/ and just have a browse around the rest of the information on the site.

No I'm pretty sure it eventually starts feeling real ;) once you've have the 12 week scan and can start telling people it's a lot more real. I'm nearly 17 weeks and just about starting to show, which also helps x
