Hi all. 12 weeks-ish pregnant, had a scan at 9+5 due to bleeding and everything was fine. Was off work for 3 weeks with severe nausea and vomiting. Have been exhausted etc. Yesterday, I woke up and felt completely normal, after wretching about 10 times the day before. I've had 3 miscarriages before and no live births so apologies for coming across as over anxious. Even my sore nipples have lessened. Is it normal for symptoms to just disappear in the space of 12 hours?

It's been 18 years since I had a baby but I too woke up one day after 12/13 weeks and felt fine. Think it's a second trimester thing. If you are worried pop in to see your midwife and get them to check the heartbeat. Thinking of you.

Thanks @BrevilleTron - I'm always nervous to call my midwife. Never done it before but she's not the nicest of ladies. Pregnancy is terrifying for me. Baby is so wanted and I've just convinced myself I've had another miscarriage.

I'm 11+5 and have definitely noticed that symptoms have faded. I'm not as tired as I was, boobs not as sore or full feeling, nausea mostly gone. It is normal to start feeling better once you approach the end of first trimester. Do you have your 12 week scan soon?

HumpHumpWhale · 27/04/2018 08:23

Mine didn't go completely until 16 weeks but it was a night and day difference when they did. Big overnight improvement at 12 weeks, then totally gone at 16.
Are you due for your 12 week scan soon?

Thanks both. I have it booked for next week. I'm so scared baby will be nowhere to be seen.

It just seemed so strange for symptoms to just vanish like that...
