Hi, just wondered if anyone else had a situation like this, would be great to hear other people's opinions . I'm currently on the pop pill, I have never missed and pill but may have taken it late a couple of times.
But lately I've been feeling very tired, no energy and sore boobs, I have been pregnant before and I was very sick straight away. But I thought I would just go ahead and do a pregnancy test just to be sure, and I got back a very very faint line!!! Which made me nearly faint ha ha! So panick stations kicked and then went back to do a second and third to be sure as the line is so faint...but all the rest came back very clear negative. So now I'm very confused and not too sure what to do next? Has anyone been through a similar situation could shed some light, of course if I am it's a blessing of course but very out the blue, thanks in advance x

I've heard that you can get a false negative but barely ever a false positive maybe that one was a lot more sensitive than the other tests? Definitely test again on a few days

Thank you, I tired another one this morning as I know that usually the best time to do it, and came up negative, I don't know if you can get a faulty test which it's still very much in date. But I will wait a few more days and check to be sure x

You can't get false positives, but you can get evaporation lines which can look like a faint positive, particularly on blue dye tests where it's hard to tell if there's any colour in the line. I guess just give it a couple of days and test again?
