Flight socks/stockings?

Hello,
Going to Spain on Tuesday (roughly 2 hour flight), and my midwife said even on a short haul flight I am high risk for blood clots, so advised walking around every half an hour. I will be 18+3 when we go, 19+3 when we come back and wondering if I should get some flight socks or stockings to help? Do they really work or are they pointless?
Also if anyone has any tips on what I should and shouldn't do while in Spain I would really appreciate it Grin

Support tights and walking round frequently plus doing in-flight leg and ankle exercises (google) would be better. Also keep well hydrated.
The problem with flight socks is that if they are too tight at the knee they act as a tourniquet and create more risk.
