Hello, I'm 10 weeks pregnant and currently in another country literally in the middle of nowhere (in a cabin in the mountains) with DP.
Yesterday earlier afternoon I had a BM (sorry tmi) and around 10 mins later had a gush of bright red blood with small clot material. Not long after I passed something that felt fairly large but toilet was filled with blood so couldn't see it. Ever since I've had what I'd call a medium period flow, but no more clots.

I haven't really had any pain at all other than slight twinges and maybe very very mild cramping occassionally.

My sickness was gone yesterday and today along with my food aversions.

My question is could a miscarriage happen that quickly? Literally on the space of 20 mins with no pain?

We are going home in 2-3 days but I'm sitting here going crazy not knowing what's happening Sad

I’m so sorry you’ve had to go through this and I hope you get answers soon. The truth is - and this isn’t particularly helpful - it could be something or nothing. I know people who have bled after a bm because of blood pooling inside them and it meant nothing bad. My mc (and I was four weeks earlier than you) lasted three weeks, but everybody’s experience is different. Is there anyone you can call there? If you just have to wait until you go home then I’d advise calling your EPU or midwife as soon as you get back into the country to give you some answers. Best of luck, I hope it all works out for you xx

Thank you for replying Milly ...Not much change here, seems like a light period now, tiniest dull ache in pelvic area.
I guess I'll be waiting it out and won't know for sure until I have a scan
