Chickenpox immunity

This is a stupid question but I just wanted some reassurance. I'm a primary school teacher and my midwife tested my immunity for chickenpox and slap on 12 week booking in bloods. Apparently I have "quite high levels" of chicken pox immunity (I'd hope so having caught it twice as a kid!)
This means I don't have to freak out about the fact there's a kid in my class whose off with chicken pox? Right??!

If they've already tested your immunity and you're immune it's fine.

Hi birdybirdbird,I’m a primary teacher too and have had every contagious disease imaginable occur in my class since I got pregnant!Nhs advice says if you’ve had chicken pox already you don’t need to worry about contact with anyone who has it while pregnant.Slapped cheek is more serious but as you’ve already been tested for immunity you don’t have to worry about this either. If you do develop a rash or anything then contact your midwife but it’s probably highly unlikely you will.Good luck!
