I'm 27+1 and my bump is really uncomfortable today.
It's really hard and tight Like a bowling ball.
There is loads of pressure below the bump.
I can't stand straight or sit up without sharp pains across my lower belly.
The pressure eases off for a few mins then comes back. Feels like when you get cramp in your foot but obv in my belly.

Is that Braxton hicks?
Should I be worried?
My Sil said to drink water and rest.
I thought BH was something that happened in the last few weeks of pregnancy?
It's such an odd sensation when the bump goes so solid!

I'm 28+1 and I find that it definitely depends on where she is laying as to how I feel. Sometimes she wedges herself in the most uncomfortable positions and I feel completely out of breath, massive hard bump, and just really uncomfortable for a day and then the next day I feel back to normal.
So it could just be that?

I actually went to MAU around 27 weeks as I was so worried. Got advised it was braxton hicks, they can be really really intense!

I asked midwife and she said it shouldn't be constant or painful so I need to maternity triage to be assessed and possibly admitted.
My work will go ape-sh*t if I leave early/take time off again!!
So I'm gonna have to wait till Friday evening to call so it doesn't impact work

My first pregnancy I didt get no braxton hicks
My second I had them towards the end
And my pregnancy now Iv had them as early as 15 weeks ...
they can be uncomfortable and to me felt like an early labour but didt hurt enough for me to contact my midwife . Xx
