Hello, I've got my gender scan in 17 days and I'm so scared that's there going to say there is no heartbeat😩 does anyone else ever feel like that? I've still got morning sickness but I've been getting stomach pains and above my pubic bone, can anyone give me some nice advice?!

Your stomach pains will be your uterus stretching and growing which is a good sign that baby is fine. Your 'gender scan' is actually an anomaly scan and it's normal to be nervous because they are actively looking for any issues, but the chances are everything will be fine.

It's part of the job of motherhood I'm afraid! Smile

I've worried at before every scan I've been for! Is that normal? X

I worried at every scan too. I dont think you should be ashamed of it.

They may not even tell you the sex - our area doesn’t.
The scan isn’t to sex the baby, it’s a detailed anatomy scan.

Anxiety is pretty normal - but remember that if you’ve got through the 12 week testing with low risk and have had no further issues then the chances of finding something are fairly low. Morning sickness is a good sign and the pains (as long as they’re mild) are most likely stretching.

Good luck! Hope you get a clear scan and ll is well.

I booked in for a early gender scan so I get to know 😊, I can put up with the pains with out taking paracetamol so they can't be that bad x

Wait until you can feel the kicks. Shock If you are unlucky they can hurt.
