He was standing on edge of sofa and kinda fell/jumped/sat onto bump...
I'm 37+4 weeks. This happened literally a couple of minutes ago but instantly braxton hicks?? have started... (I say bh, the pains are like period pains)
Should I be worried? I feel like I'm worrying for nothing... 😣

Probably absolutely nothing to worry about but ring maternity triage if you are worried. Nothing worse than a sleepless night worrying at nearly 38 weeks pregnant!

I’d call, simply because you won’t settle if you don’t Flowers

I obviously don't wanna make a big deal of it, and he did fall mostly to the left of my bump, but I'm just totally worrying. He did kind of throw a lot of his weight into it (obv he doesn't realise! He got such a fright when I cried out) I'll give it a little while and look out for normal movements. But yeah I'll probably call or I will be up all night!

The baby probably just didn't like it but because your so far along any force to the stomach id ring in for xxx

I suspect most dc2+ have been bounced upon by their elder sibs before they were born. And came to no harm whatsoever.

Your baby is well protected by your body.

At 38+ weeks you are at term, and can go into labour at any momemt. So even if what you feel is the beginning of labour, it may be unconnected to the bounce; or, if triggered by the bounce, its unlikrly to cause any issues.

But, as ever, any concerns -> call the Labour Ward for advice.

Good luck Wink Hope your bag's packed!
