Hey,

I'm 30 weeks pregnant, and really struggling with tiredness, aching and lots of appointments, anyone have any tips of how to survive the last trimester?

Start asking for things more. If you're at work ask people to bring you something you need on their way back from somewhere.

Do less at home and keep your feet up.

Following as I'd like to know how to cope too.. 29 weeks today and feel exhausted😭

Ask for more help.
Sit down whenever possible.

I taught up to 38 weeks in both of my pregnancies and it was intense. I had literally no energy for anything else. But I did find that people are more than willing to help when you are heavily pregnant.

39+5 here and felt the exact same at 30 weeks!
I kept myself busy working, seeing friends and organizing all the babies bits. I kept telling myself I'd survived 30 weeks already 10 more wasn't going to kill me. But I did slow down quite a bit as the weeks went by. I felt no guilt allowing my husband to pick up more housework/cooking while I chilled out or took a nap.
I worked in the office until 38 weeks and have agreed to work until due date from home, it's keeping me sane to be honest!
I've now got PEP so itchy and bitchy waiting on this baby to make an appearance but again I know I'm on the home stretch.
Just try remember it's not forever, you'll have good days and bad days and at the end you'll have your baby Grin

Oh and in the last week I've started filling a basket just for me for after all this with nice face masks, moisturizer, chocolate, favorite booze etc as a little incentive to keep going! I'll prob be too tired to use any of it but at least I know it's there Wink

Thanks everyone, my issue is I'm not allowed to work atm, had a risk of pre term labour a few weeks back, and midwife doesn't want me going back as i was a carer, I feel really tired and achy and need to find something go keep me busy!

I am knitting a blanket for my baby (well trying to never knitted before!) and watching an online hypnobirthing course as well which is actually really inspiring and helpful in preparing for baby and not as out there as it sounds!

It’s exhausting isn’t it? I’m 32 weeks and just shattered. Sahm to a very energetic toddler. This trimester feels like hell on earth. No energy or motivation to do anything. I wish I could sleep off the next 8 weeks 😭. It’s nice to know I’m not alone and hope everyone’s last trimester goes smoothly.

Well I just ate half a tub of Tesco brownies and tried to not fall asleep on the sofa.. other DC is napping so Netflix it is!

I second previous poster on knitting baby blankets, it passes the time and makes me feel useful. I’m having severe mobility issues so I also have picker uppers in every room (some pound shops now sell them). I’m doing all my baby shopping online and searching for deals.
