Pregnant?

Hi
I am 3 months late done several tests in that time and all come back negative. So been doctors today explained my situation how I'm late and negative tests. Doctor asked my symptoms so I said headaches tired all the time and belly sometimes bloats etc he said sounds like you are pregnant and gave me a urine pot to do and to hand in Thursday and told me if negative keep doing a test it should soon be positive. Told me to see midwife who will do a heartbeat scan so booked in for the 8th of May. Me and my partner are so happy been trying for almost a year but now i have thought about it he didn't actually say I am pregnant so now I'm worried. Help

What does everyone think?

If you're 3 months late a pregnancy test should have been positive by now someone else will probably come along with better advice x

After a certain amount of time a hpt won't work as the hormone levels are too high. Have you been testing the whole 3 months or just recently?

I wouldn’t assume anything at this point. I’m a little surprised that your doctor didn’t ask you to get your bloods done to be honest.

If you are 3 months along, then it would definitely show on a blood test.

I definitely wouldn't be getting excited just yet as if you were pregnant you really should have gotten a positive test by now.

If I was you I would book a private scan as soon as possible. You should be able to get one this week. At least then you will know for sure either way. If your not pregnant your doctor needs to run some tests to find out why your periods have stopped.

Yeah i thought that but doctor said not all tests are accurate and not even theirs. Which is why he told me to book an appointment for midwife. Yeah did tests most of 3 months always come back negative. No didn't say anything about bloods just said sounds like you are pregnant. Do you think I should go back and ask for a blood test? I know i shouldn't so upsetting aswell we have been trying for almost a year had my implant out in July last year trying ever since regular periods until recently where I haven't had anything since january. Yeah I am hoping they will do that if not pregnant. Thanks everyone
