I’m so tired but wake up at 6am every day and through the night🙈 Will this last the whole way through? Want a lie in whilst I can 😂

I’m exactly the same, wake up at least a couple of times during the night and then I’m wide awake from 6am then feel drained all day. It’s really no fun!

I'm exactly the same. This weekend has been a waste, no energy, tired and headachey. Hoping for a snooze in the sun this afternoon!!!!

I'm told it does go away....

SomebodysNotInBedYet · 22/04/2018 08:36

Yes, I would wake up at 3am and be awake for an hour before settling down again. It passed quite quickly, I'm 17 weeks now and I don't remember the last time it happened.

Yes I had this im the first trimester. I would waken from 2.30ish and be awake for a couple of hours every night. Can’t remember when it stop but it does!

It got better by week 17 for me then much worse after week 30, but a week here and there wouldn't be so bad.

I'm 14 weeks today and I wake for a couple of hours most nights. At least I am past the extreme exhaustion where I needed to go to bed at 7:30pm, which lasted until week twelve...

I had this. It did seem to disappear in the main during the second trimester, but the third trimester I am back to sleep issues. Now it is more a case of being so uncomfortable and in pain that if it's not one thing it's another that is either waking me up or keeping me awake and tossing and turning.

In the first trimester I found it hard to go to sleep and then I'd wake around 4 a.m. every day. I figured out that part of the waking up was because I was hungry (despite having morning sickness).

Yes, I wake at 3am every day for a wee and am quite peckish, have to eat a big bowl of yoghurt with nuts and cereal and a couple of glasses of milk! I can't ignore the hunger or it gnaws and burns and keeps me awake even longer.

I slept better with a newborn than I ever did pregnant!

I had insomnia, restless legs, hip pain, leg pain... it was hideous! It didn’t get better till later on in pregnancy but went away when he was born.

I don’t sleep great now as I twitch awake at the smallest noises!

FranticallyPeaceful · 22/04/2018 19:28

My issue was I couldn’t get enough of it! But yes every pregnancy I wake up constantly, it gets worse as you progress
