Had DD 16m ago and am currently 26w pregnant with dc3- yesterday I grazed a lot and ate quite a bit, felt very full and noticed my incision from previous csection was feeling really pulled- fine I thought the skin is stretching etc and went to bed. This morning I still feel really full and bloaty and my incision still really aches! I bent down to put DP coffee on the floor next to the bed and it really hurt Sad I’m now paranoid about it splitting or rupturing am I being stupid? Or is this a possibility? Sunday so can hardly contact MW.. thanks in advance Flowers

Sorry you are having this worry. I don't think it could rupture. Try to rest and take paracetamol for the pain and if it is still worrying you tomorrow call the midwife x

If it is still hurting tomorrow, I would give them a call. That way they can tell you that this is totally normal and nothing to worry about, or is something to worry about and you need to be seen.

Hi - I would phone labour ward for advice. Section scars can rupture although it is rare. Always best to get checked....

Thanks for the responses- think I just need to make better choices and not pig out so much Blush will keep an eye on it during the week!
