Right so I've posted about this before and read loads of others posts about this but nothing is working hot bath getting up massaging ( makes it WORSE) < for me anyway but what can I take for this now as I'm on the edge of my sanity I literally broke down to my OH last night and took it out on him because he was snoaring happily asleep and I'm was sitting there crying because I'm can't cope and finding it's making me depressed. Can I take iron tablets to help with this or do I need a blood test first? I just need this to stop or even reduce enough to get SOME sleep 💔 I'm 28 weeks btw and it's just getting so much worse sorry if I sound like a crank but I've had enough now 😪

That sounds really frustrating. Have you spoken to midwife or GP about it? I don't think it's recommended to take iron tablets without being prescribed/advised to take them.

Oh it is AWFUL isn't it. I didn't have it for any other pregnancies except this one and it is just awful.

Things that (sometimes) help me
Low key Exercise/moving (even just leg rises while brushing my teeth) Pelvic clenches and tilts in bed. Sounds sexier than it is🙄

Not lying or sitting down in the evening until the very last minute when I go to bed.

Weirdly, baths make it worse for me. Possibly because I'm lying down?!

Iron tablets...this is just a maybe, but my taking them (anaemic, so prescribed) coincided with a decrease in nighttime restlessness.

Sunshine also seems to make t a bit better. Maybe vitamin D supplements might help?

None of this is scientific, sorry. I have really battled with it through this whole pregnancy. I'm due now though so hopeful it will go when he baby arrives!

That happens me when I am short of something, I don’t know exactly what ‘it’ is but I take multivitamins and vitamin d and it goes away in a few days.
