Wondering if anyone had similar. I’m 34wks tomorrow and for the last 2 weeks after going to the toilet and I wipe, about 30 sec later I had a small trickle of something. It doesn’t matter how I stay on the toilet for, it always comes out once I’m standing up walking away. I usually wear pads except at night and I notice that my knickers are always wet. I also noticed that it is a very yellowish colour and smells strong. It only just dawned on me that it could be waters and not wee as I just assumed with it being 4th baby my pelvic floor isn’t the strongest! I only saw mw this week but stupidly it didn’t occur to me to ask but I guess I will have to give labour ward a call!

Yes call them . Or go in. If it's pee then it's pee. If it's not then the sooner you're seen the better

Make sure you get it checked out, but just to (maybe) ease your mind a tad, no matter how much wee I push out, if I stand up without holding abit of loo roll down there Hmm I pee a little 🙈 even when I’ve made sure to push out any excess. My pelvic floor must be shot after 3 kids and I’m Currently 29 weeks. Hopefully (and I mean this in the nicest way!) you are just pissing yourself 😂😂😂

I’d see a midwife just in case but honestly it’s pretty normal to pee yourself and not know in pregnancy. Sometimes you’ll go to the toilet and see wetness in your knickers and sometimes your pants may have a big wet patch from sweat - both really normal. Just another pregnancy glow Hmm

Sounds like wee to me- when your pelvic floor weakens and the bladders slips down a little your urethra isn’t straight anymore and has a curve in it- this is why when you stand up a little bit more of the wee comes out! Although as you are so far along it is ALWAYS better to be safe then sorry so yes go and get it checked. Every woman who has had even just one baby has some degree of bladder prolapse, and 80% of women who haven’t had babies at all will also develop one to! Try to do some pelvic floor exercises when you can and continue after baby is here to help strengthen you back up- yes this is typed from experience! I feel your wee leaking pain Flowers congrats on baby 4 btw all the best x

I had this - it was discharge (caused by the heat, this was also in a hot spell!) When I called the hospital they said lots of women had been ringing with the same thing and to lie down with a pad on for an hour and if there's a gush when you stand up it might be waters, if not don't worry. Hope it's all OK.

Sounds more like discharge or a UTI to me. My waters were pale pink and didn't really smell both times.

Mumof3cheeky · 22/04/2018 11:59

Thanks all I have had it checked and my waters definitely not gone! X
