I’m 24+ 5 today and having a easy pregnancy to be honest so I have nothing to complain about. So this might seem a little silly Blush. I feel baby move on and off all day which I love but when I get into bed he has a freaking party. He feels so strong he’s moving my belly and kicking my hips which feels really strange. He makes me flinch. It’s keeping me awake till 2am so I’m shattered. Anyone else have this ? Is it normal ?

I have this and I'm just shy of 24 weeks.

Movements during day and then bam at night he's in a freaking rave lol

Totally normal for the most part but mention it to midwife if you need reassurance as increased and decreased movements are sometimes monitored.

I have found increases movement at night is triggering heartburn tho!

I’m glad it’s not just me and thankfully no heart burn. It’s been happening for the last 7-10 days so I think it’s more of a pattern tbh. I’ll mention it at my next appointment but I’d feel silly phoning them for it tbh.

I have this too. I think it’s just that when you lie down you’re pelvis is much more relaxed and therefore more room to party! Hopefully it’ll either calm down a little or you’ll get used to it and be able to sleep.

I'm 24+4 today and I have the same! Bed time is definitely party time for my little spud 😆 sometimes it's so strong it makes me jump!

I read that when moving about the movement sort of rock the baby to sleep, so it's more likely to be awake when you are still - or in bed in your case!!

I have the same thing! I'm 35 weeks now and it's been happening since around 24 weeks.. but now it's even stronger and weirder! (If that's even a word 😂)

And you can feel the baby pushing both sides of your stomach at the same time... It's like she's trying to stretch out fully!

I had a dream the other night that her foot started to rip my stomach a tiny but and I had to push the foot back. Bleugh!!! It was so bizarre... Freaked me out for the rest of the day. Still can't think of it without feeling weird!
